Established in 2011, Olympia’s Complete Hearing & Balance (formerly Ascent Audiology & Hearing) is the only full scope audiology clinic in the South Sound area. Our owner, Dr. Alison Vega, started this practice with a vision to provide comprehensive hearing and balance healthcare in our community.

DOCTOR OF AUDIOLOGY/OWNER

Dr. Vega brings over twenty years of professional hearing health experience to Olympia. A native of the Northwest, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Western Washington University and her doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from Utah State University. She began her career in Seattle and moved to Olympia in 2004 to practice with an ENT clinic. Dr. Vega opened her private practice in 2011 so that she could focus on the specialty of treatment for hearing loss, balance and tinnitus.

DOCTOR OF AUDIOLOGY/CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Jessica Hesson, also a northwest native, received both her undergraduate degree and her Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from the University of Washington. Since she began her career, Dr. Hesson has practiced audiology in Ear, Nose, and Throat clinics as well as at Veteran’s Affairs clinics. She joined the team at Ascent Audiology & Hearing in 2018 so that she could broaden her ability to expand hearing healthcare treatment for patients in the South Sound region.

DOCTOR OF AUDIOLOGY

Chelsea Ingrim, Au.D., CCC-A, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the Washington State University in 2014, and a Doctorate of Audiology degree from Pacific University in 2017. She joined Complete Hearing and Balance in 2022. She has a diverse clinical background, and has evaluated and treated patients of all ages in hospitals, ENT clinics, and the VA. She performs diagnostic hearing evaluations and provides comprehensive hearing aid care using evidence-based practice. A native to Olympia, WA, Chelsea enjoys the great outdoor activities that the Northwest has to offer. 

DOCTOR OF AUDIOLOGY

Tali Westreich, Au.D. earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, and her doctorate of audiology (Au.D) from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Westreich moved to Olympia to join Complete Hearing and Balance in 2022. Dr. Westreich specializes in surgical treatment options for hearing loss, and uses evidence-based practices and a patient-centered approach to provide quality care to every patient. 

Truly a pleasant experience. I was not having any hearing problems however I hadn’t had mine checked in years and thought it was a good idea. Nice office, nice staff and The Dr explained everything in detail.
